Watershed area development programe is based on different aspects of storage of water, maximum recharging, help irrigation, employment and agriculture. One water shed project covers development of 500 hectars of land within a time limit of 5 years.

Drought Proofing Programe |
Rain is highly irregular in Kutch district. Under this project, attempt is made for drought proofing by creating reservoirs & ponds to prepare for droughts, provision of drinking water and fodder to animals is also available under this project.
